Key Responsibilities
- Execute general journal entries across multiple legal entities.
- Manage month-end closing tasks, including accruals, prepaids, general ledger uploads, and comprehensive reconciliations.
- Perform daily reconciliations between banking transactions and accounting software.
- Oversee cash postings for deposits.
- Calculate month-end depreciation for fixed assets across various companies.
- Address inquiries and provide information to financial statement and bank auditors.
- Administer expense allocations through Concur and manage Concur operations.
- Process accounts payable invoices as required.
- Support special projects within the Accounting and Tax departments.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is essential.
- Proficient understanding of financial and accounting principles and their practical applications.
- Experience in the financial products sector is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Concur or similar expense management systems is highly desirable.
- Experience with Floqast is a plus.
- A strong work ethic, with attention to detail and the ability to take initiative.
- Capability to follow directions while also working independently.
- Excellent multitasking, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- A collaborative and team-oriented mindset is crucial.
- Knowledge of MS Dynamics 365 (Business Central) is preferred.
- Advanced skills in Excel are required.
