Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Courtyard by Marriott Pentagon Alexandria. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our hotel rooms and common areas.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of hotel rooms, corridors, and public areas, including restocking supplies and ensuring that all areas are tidy and well-maintained.
  • Perform a range of cleaning duties, including vacuuming, mopping, making beds, dusting, and polishing furniture, as well as doing laundry and restocking toiletries as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during their stay.
  • Track and document room cleaning and maintenance activities, including lost and found items, damage, and repairs needed.
  • Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff to ensure that all rooms are cleaned and prepared to our high standards before guests arrive.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience as a housekeeper or in a related field highly desirable.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Good understanding of cleaning techniques and products, with the ability to use a range of cleaning equipment and supplies.
