Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at Prism Hospitality, LP. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing front desk operations, and supervising a team of front desk agents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the training and supervision of front desk agents to ensure they provide excellent guest service and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Oversee and participate in guest registration, including checking in and checking out guests, handling room assignments, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Assist in scheduling staff according to labor standards and forecasts occupancy, and monitor labor costs to stay within departmental budget.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and complaints, and take appropriate action to resolve issues and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure adherence to procedures for hotel accounting, credit control, and handling of financial transactions, securities of monies, guest security, and emergency procedures as established.
  • Provide a professional image at all times through appearance and dress, and follow company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in hiring and training of staff, and participate in bi-weekly management staff meetings.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a front desk or guest services role, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, staff, and management.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations, including front desk procedures, guest services, and hotel accounting.
