About the Role

Burns & McDonnell, a leading engineering and architecture firm, is seeking a highly skilled Staff Architect to join our Mission Critical team. As a Staff Architect, you will play a key role in designing and delivering world-class data center projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project teams to create innovative and efficient data center designs.
  • Develop and modify production drawings for data center facilities.
  • Assist in the development of interior designs that meet client needs and architectural requirements.
  • Manage data and ensure compliance with project managers' requirements.
  • Prepare and present client presentations, shop drawing reviews, and construction administration.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from an accredited program and 4 years of architectural experience, consulting preferred.
  • Master's Degree in Architecture and 3 years of architectural experience, consulting preferred.
  • Demonstrated progress toward becoming a Registered Architect.
  • Strong knowledge of standard architectural techniques and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, BIM (Revit), Adobe Suites, and 3D rendering programs.
  • Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
