Surgical Technologist

Williamson Health is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.
Job SummaryThe Surgical Technologist will assist the surgical team in preparing patients for surgery, maintaining a sterile environment, and providing support during procedures. This is a dynamic and fast-paced role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for surgery by ensuring they are properly positioned and draped.
- Maintain a sterile environment by following established protocols and procedures.
- Assist the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and supplies.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the surgical team.
- Participate in the cleaning and disinfection of the operating room.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Scrub tech certification required.
- Previous experience in a surgical setting preferred.
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in high-stress situations.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
