Surgical Technologist

Williamson Health is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms, providing exceptional patient care, and collaborating with our healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring the proper handling of instruments and equipment.
- Prepare patients for surgery, including positioning, draping, and ensuring proper anesthesia administration.
- Monitor and maintain aseptic technique, adhering to hospital policies and procedures to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to anticipate and respond to patient needs, ensuring timely and effective care.
- Participate in the maintenance of the operating room environment, including cleaning, disinfecting, and restocking supplies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, providing clear and concise information to ensure seamless care.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA) preferred.
- One year of experience in a surgical setting, with a focus on perioperative care and patient safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
