About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist/LPN to join our team at United Surgical Partners. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with operative procedures, demonstrating a strong understanding of surgical techniques and protocols.
  • Prepare and maintain supplies, instruments, and equipment, adhering to aseptic techniques and ensuring a sterile environment.
  • Support the circulating nurse and surgical team in maintaining a safe and efficient operating room environment.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, patients, and physicians, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Completion of an appropriate surgical technician program or licensed nurse in the state of Tennessee.
  • Surgical experience required, with previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.
  • Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient.
