Position Overview

About the Role

The full-time Client Relationship Manager will concentrate on forging new connections while nurturing existing partnerships with both corporate and governmental clients. By overseeing our sales process, the account manager will cultivate leads, broaden our active partner network, and assist in acquiring the resources necessary to make a positive impact in communities nationwide.

This role will operate in a hybrid format.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily operations of the sales strategy
  • Identify potential leads, develop prospects, and onboard new business partners
  • Allocate 75% of time to Outbound Prospecting and 25% to Account Management
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with current strategic partners
  • Build and nurture a robust network within the community
  • Represent PCs for People at industry conferences, conventions, and association meetings
  • Prepare and present sales proposals and presentations
  • Engage with businesses that can benefit from PCs for People's electronic recycling services
  • Stay informed about industry trends and maintain awareness of market conditions and competitors
  • Provide insights and contribute ideas for growth and expansion
  • Assist in the preparation of RFPs, MOUs, SOWs, MSAs, recycling agreements, and security agreements
  • Conduct cold calls to potential donors
  • Maintain regular communication with donors before, during, and after pick-up
  • Meet with and conduct site assessments with donors
  • Act as a liaison between donors and PCs for People
  • Conduct quarterly reviews with high-value donors
  • Maintain comprehensive donor records
  • Follow up regularly with previous donors
  • Market ITAD services and review agreements
  • Complete partnership agreements as necessary
  • Collaborate with Operations to coordinate pick-up schedules
  • Manage the truck calendar effectively
  • Provide detailed information regarding pick-ups
  • Generate and assess leads
  • Serve as the primary contact for all ITAD-related matters
  • Issue ITAD receipts and asset lists
  • Provide certificates of destruction
  • Facilitate the transfer of ownership
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, business, communication, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, account management, or relationship development
  • Strong passion for sales and relationship cultivation
  • Experience with CRM systems, particularly HubSpot
  • Sales-oriented mindset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation abilities
  • Proven track record in business development or sales
  • Experience in lead generation and closing new business
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Commitment to community service and interest in digital inclusion
  • Knowledge of technology or recycling industries is advantageous
