The Opportunity

We are seeking a Business Relationship Manager to join our Global Data Science & Analytics (GDSA) team within Abbott Medical Devices. This role will support the development and implementation of various data science projects executed by the GDSA team in Mumbai, India.

The GDSA team is a group of data scientists and engineers who deliver data science solutions to internal stakeholders. We leverage a wide variety of healthcare data, including health insurance claims, internal Abbott device data, and Electronic Health Records (EHR).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, plan, coordinate and direct data science projects across multiple locations that are of major scope and importance.
  • Understand medical device business needs/perspective and articulate these needs to other stakeholders.
  • Communicate data science results to internal and external audiences, including senior management.
  • Interface with senior management on significant matters, often requiring the coordination of activity across organizational units.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in business or technical discipline OR an equivalent combination of education or work experience.
  • Proven working experience in product development, project management and/or business process implementation.
  • Cross-functional collaboration and alignment.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree.
  • 5 years' experience in medical devices or health care analytics, including experience with a global company.
  • Innovative thinker with analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Experience prioritizing and managing project initiatives across multiple functions and/or business units.
