Job Summary

Sevita is seeking a dedicated Transportation Driver and Program Assistant to join our Adult Day Health team in Attleboro. This is a Monday-Friday dayshift opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and reliable transportation services between individuals' homes, day centers, agency programs, events, outings, and appointments with staff.
  • Offer safety assistance when boarding and off-loading at all destinations.
  • Lift and transfer individuals served using proper body mechanics and assistance.
  • Ensure cleanliness and daily maintenance of vehicle.
  • Assist staff in monitoring individuals and participating at the day center to facilitate activities, meals, care, and bathroom assistance.
  • Assist individuals with daily living, including basic personal hygiene and bathroom assistance.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and 21 years of age.
  • Prior van driving experience preferred.
  • Minimum one year experience in transporting older adults or individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Reliable and responsible attitude and a compassionate approach.
  • Commitment to quality in everything you do.
