Sevita is seeking a dedicated Transportation Driver and Program Assistant to join our Adult Day Health team in Attleboro. This is a Monday-Friday dayshift opportunity.
Key Responsibilities- Provide safe and reliable transportation services between individuals' homes, day centers, agency programs, events, outings, and appointments with staff.
- Offer safety assistance when boarding and off-loading at all destinations.
- Lift and transfer individuals served using proper body mechanics and assistance.
- Ensure cleanliness and daily maintenance of vehicle.
- Assist staff in monitoring individuals and participating at the day center to facilitate activities, meals, care, and bathroom assistance.
- Assist individuals with daily living, including basic personal hygiene and bathroom assistance.
- High school diploma or equivalent and 21 years of age.
- Prior van driving experience preferred.
- Minimum one year experience in transporting older adults or individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, preferred.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable and responsible attitude and a compassionate approach.
- Commitment to quality in everything you do.
- Full, part-time, and as-needed schedules available.
- Full compensation and benefits package for employees working 30+ hours/week.
