Job Summary:

The duties of this position include consistent demonstration of professional conduct and ethical practice in the clinical setting; using and interpreting both verbal and non-verbal communication when working with patients and members of their families; performing initial clinical assessments and assisting physicians/practitioners with any treatments or procedures;

  • patient instruction/education related to diagnosis, tests and medications;
  • maintenance and proficiency testing of clinical equipment;
  • displaying safety consciousness in the clinical setting with patients, self, staff and equipment;
  • establishing and enhancing good personal rapport with patients and patient family members;
  • complying with infection control principles and sterile procedures;
