Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled Cardiac Care Specialist to join our team in the South Weymouth, MA area. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals who share your passion for providing top-notch care.

Salary:

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $62,000 and $151,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description:

This Cardiac Care Specialist will be responsible for monitoring cardiac rhythm and vital signs, administering medications and treatments, and collaborating with healthcare providers to develop and modify treatment plans. You will also have the opportunity to educate patients and their families on best practices for heart health and provide support and guidance as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor cardiac rhythm and other critical vital signs, interpreting data to identify any signs of distress or abnormal patterns
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to the medical plan of care
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to evaluate and modify the plan of care as necessary, with a focus on patient's cardiac status
  • Educate patients and their families on best practices for heart health, treatment plans, and any relevant home care instructions
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient's condition, treatment, and progress in accordance with hospital and departmental policies
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
  • 1 year experience in cardiac telemetry or other cardiac care setting preferred
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
  • Skilled in EKG rhythm interpretation and other cardiac monitoring techniques
  • Proficient in electronic medical record systems
