Medical Oncology Care Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncology Care Specialist to join our team at South Shore Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with cancer or blood disorders.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with attending physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and caregivers to provide education and support throughout the care process.
Requirements:
  • Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Massachusetts.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Massachusetts Department of Public Health and Federal DEA numbers.
  • Oncology experience preferred.
Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
