Position Title: Front Desk Agent

Function: Customer Service

We are seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Front Desk Agent at a newly established hotel. The ideal candidate will embody qualities such as friendliness, approachability, a service-oriented mindset, and technological proficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Provide detailed information regarding hotel policies, services, and amenities.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests for local area information.
  • Manage room sales for walk-in guests.
  • Update and maintain reservation records in the computer system.
  • Process guest payments and manage account adjustments.
  • Communicate room status and availability to housekeeping staff.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints promptly.
  • Operate the hotel switchboard or PBX system.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
  • Keep daily logs and balance cash drawers at the end of shifts.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the hospitality industry is highly valued, particularly with Starwood properties. Proficiency in computer systems is essential.
