Position Overview:

The individual selected for this role will possess a strong foundation in systems engineering, development, troubleshooting, and analytical problem-solving capabilities.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in primary programming languages such as Visual Basic (VB6) and LabView, particularly in the context of multi-rack testing environments.
  • Experience with various testing apparatus, including but not limited to switch systems, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), power supplies, and other RF or digital equipment.
  • Capability to develop and maintain Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) test equipment and associated software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, integrate, and document production testing software tailored for aviation products.
  • Engineer test hardware, which encompasses fixtures, cabling, and circuit boards, while also generating engineering estimates for intricate tasks.
  • Conduct requirements gathering, analysis, and creation for sophisticated designs.
  • Facilitate test software design reviews and ensure the production of requisite design documentation.
  • Prepare and deliver project-related and technical presentations to colleagues, internal stakeholders, and clients, while also mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related discipline with at least 3 years of experience. Alternatively, in the absence of a degree, a total of 9 years of pertinent experience is mandatory. Engineering and other technical roles typically necessitate a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, unless local laws or regulations dictate otherwise.
