Job Summary

The J.R. Simplot Company is a leading global food and agriculture company seeking a Turf Location Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our locations. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe operation of the business unit, supervising CDL driver workforce, and maintaining warehouse equipment and commercial motor vehicle fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and enforce general safety policies and procedures to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
  • Supervise CDL driver workforce on logistical operations and general maintenance of the commercial motor vehicle fleet and associated delivery equipment.
  • Organize and supervise day-to-day operations, determining work practices and procedures to optimize resource utilization.
  • Perform recordkeeping functions and general accounting practices related to inventory, delivery scheduling, product procurement, and employee files.
  • Interface with sales force on product forecasting and general customer requests.
Requirements
  • Associates Degree (A.A. or A.S.) or equivalent experience and education.
  • Supervisory, planning, organization, interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • General warehousing knowledge and inventory management experience.
  • Proactive in providing customer service and support beyond typical operational needs.
  • Analysis and problem-solving abilities to deal with out-of-the-ordinary assignments.
