We are seeking a skilled Banquet Server to join our team at the King Kamehameha Kona Beach Resort Courtyard by Marriott. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests during banquets and events.
Key Responsibilities:- Interpret banquet event orders and set up assigned tables efficiently and courteously.
- Retrieve and serve food orders, alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages to banquet and event guest tables.
- Maintain cleanliness and condition of work areas and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
- Assist with general banquet and event preparation, including set-up and room refreshes.
- Professionally serve food and beverages to banquet guests.
- Observe guests to fulfill additional requests and perceive when meal has been completed.
- Assist in clearing of tables.
- Check-in with and monitor guests' experience throughout their visit.
- Maintain a sanitary environment and adhere to food safety requirements.
- Report any missing/found articles or damage to supervisor.
- One (1) year experience preferred.
- High school or equivalent education.
- TB clearance card required.
