Job Summary

Eaton's Electrical Sector is seeking a Strategy & Business Development Manager for the Global Data Centers and Distributed IT Segment. This role will support and lead high-priority projects, driving growth in a meaningful and holistic way.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support strategic planning efforts for Electrical Sector and individual Divisions, identifying growth opportunities and priorities.
  • Work with segment and business leadership teams to develop strategic plans, analyzing target markets, Eaton's Electrical Sector business, and competitors.
  • Identify and research companies that fit with growth priorities and strategies, prioritizing M&A targets and monitoring their performance.
  • Support teams in evaluating specific acquisition, divestiture, joint venture, or venture capital opportunities, preparing complete business cases with robust strategic and financial analyses.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in in-house corporate or divisional strategy, management consulting, product management, and/or corporate development settings.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience using strategic frameworks and analytical tools, conducting industry / market / competitor / business case analyses.
  • Minimum one (1) year experience working in Data Center/Distributed IT industry.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration.
  • Professional experience working in large global matrix environment.
