We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to drive sales growth and promotion goals for our Integrated Architecture and Motion Control product portfolio. This role will lead a team of automation specialists to support and grow our business in the NW Indiana and Greater Northern Illinois territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Integrate with our sales force and business partners to provide technical expertise, sales presentations, and product demonstrations.
  • Analyze market conditions, develop business plans, and motivate the outside sales force to implement them.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support for Rockwell Automation / Allen-Bradley products & services.
  • Call on customers to convince them of the desirability of our products and services.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing programs to achieve corporate goals.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the industry, including suppliers, customers, and competitors.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong business analysis, financial modeling, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to initiate and develop relationships with key decision makers.
  • Ability to spot new business opportunities and evaluate them quickly.
  • Ability to analyze financial and operational data.
  • Ability to identify and cultivate external resources.

Experience:

  • Familiarity with our product groups.
  • Engineering background required.

Education:

  • Associates Degree in Engineering or related field required.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
