Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Calibration Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective planning, scheduling, and execution of calibration activities across multiple facilities.

Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Calibration Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive calibration plans that ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Schedule Calibration Activities: Create and manage schedules for calibration personnel to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Coordinate Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with manufacturing, validation, quality assurance, metrology, maintenance, facilities, and quality control teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Analyze and Improve Processes: Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize calibration operations.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure all calibration records are accurate, complete, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop SOPs: Collaborate with other departments to develop, write, edit, and review standard operating procedures (SOPs) for maintenance operations.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, science, or mathematics).
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a cGMP or FDA-regulated environment, preferably in a calibration or metrology role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership skills, written and verbal communication skills, self-motivation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in computerized calibration management systems (CCMS/CMMS), Microsoft Office products, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Biotechnology Experience: Previous experience working in a biotechnology facility is preferred.
  • Commissioning Experience: Experience in start-up and commissioning of cGMP facilities is a plus.
