Job Summary

The Nursing Practice Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Chief Nursing Officer at the acute care facility by standardizing practice and ensuring efficient implementation of new changes.

This position is responsible for reviewing quality, safety, and patient satisfaction data, creating action plans, and leading improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Education department to ensure competency-based training requirements are met.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert for new products, processes, and technologies.
  • Review regulatory education, certification, and competency validation compliance data.
  • Support newly hired and/or transferred clinical team members during their orientation and transition to independent practice.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to new graduate team members in the residency program.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Nursing Administration
  • 3 years of acute care nursing experience
  • Licensed to practice as a RN in South Carolina
