We are pioneers in creating the first treatments targeting the root cause of cystic fibrosis (CF), a rare and severe genetic disorder.

In addition to our clinical initiatives in CF, Vertex is actively engaged in numerous research projects aimed at understanding the underlying mechanisms of various serious diseases.

We are looking for Patient Enrollment Specialists to enhance our current Patient Enrollment Team.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Validate patient enrollment and consent documentation while confirming eligibility for the Vertex Guidance & Patient Support (GPS) Program.
2. Establish and manage patient and healthcare provider accounts for the GPS Patient Support Team.
3. Review incoming documentation received through various channels, including electronic fax, online portals, email, and postal mail, ensuring compliance with enrollment procedures.
4. Process patient health information and insurance details, addressing inquiries from the Patient Support Team.
5. Investigate and rectify discrepancies in enrollment-related documents.
6. Request additional information for incomplete documents.
7. Identify and eliminate redundant data or consolidate information from multiple sources as necessary.
8. Accurately enter information from handwritten or electronic documents, deciphering unclear handwriting and low-quality submissions.
9. Assist in the daily reconciliation of patient accounts.
10. Contribute to efforts aimed at streamlining processes and updating work instructions.
11. Support the management of general voicemail for Guidance and Patient Support, directing messages to appropriate Patient Support Specialists.
12. Participate in ad hoc project assignments as needed.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficient data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Strong listening and communication abilities.
- Reliable team player who can also work independently.
- Positive attitude when handling a high volume of requests, with a problem-solving mindset.
- Familiarity with MS Office suite.
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is advantageous.

Compensation:
$25-$26 per hour.

This position is a temporary role facilitated through a third-party agency partner at Vertex Pharmaceuticals. The selected candidate will be employed by the agency partner, and details regarding compensation, benefits, and employment conditions will be provided by them upon offer. This role is also eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable laws.
