Job Description

The Maintenance Specialist, Production, plays a critical role in supporting manufacturing with equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. This position requires a high level of technical expertise and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure a safe and effective working environment by performing routine maintenance tasks and addressing equipment issues promptly.
  • Support manufacturing operations by troubleshooting and repairing process equipment, including Fillers with integrated Isolators, ATEC processing, Terminal Sterilizer, Parts Washers, Autoclaves, Single-Use Technology, and Aseptic Process Simulations.
  • Participate in FAT, SAT, and other activities with equipment vendors to ensure seamless integration of new equipment.
  • Make recommendations on equipment upgrades and modifications to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Assist with plant safety programs and safety awareness initiatives to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Prepare and update Preventative Maintenance (PM) tasks to ensure production equipment is properly maintained.
  • Ensure all work carried out and equipment installed is safe, effective, and in compliance with industry standards.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a sterile fill finish environment is required.
  • A high school diploma or GED and a minimum of 4+ years of applicable experience in the pharmaceutical industry are required.
  • Knowledge of GMP and industry best practices is essential.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Effective organization skills and attention to detail are necessary.
