  • Engage with customers by greeting them warmly and using their names when possible.
  • Efficiently unload and process customers' purchases, ensuring items are bagged appropriately.
  • Conduct thorough checks of shopping carts to ensure all items are accounted for before finalizing transactions.
  • Adhere to proper bagging techniques to optimize the use of bags.
  • Handle payment transactions with precision, following established procedures.
  • Maintain professionalism by minimizing personal conversations during customer interactions.
  • Process various forms of payment, including cash, checks, and gift cards, in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure accurate cash management and follow protocols for refunds and corrections.
  • Assist customers with their purchases, including offering to carry items to their vehicles when needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring a pleasant shopping environment.
  • Report any technical issues with the register or other equipment to management.
  • Complete required training and adhere to all company guidelines and safety standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support store operations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks and responsibilities.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to operate cash registers and other necessary equipment.
  • Capable of lifting and moving products as required.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures as needed.
