Regional Director of Sales SLED

Job Summary:

The Regional Director of Sales SLED will be responsible for managing and directing direct sales into SLED Accounts. This key role will involve creating and implementing strategic plans focused on attaining enterprise-wide deployments of Fortinet products and services. The successful candidate will develop executive relationships with key buyers and influencers in Major Enterprise accounts and leverage these relationships to drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Manage and motivate a team of Sales Representatives focused on SLED Accounts.
  • Account Planning: Develop account plans to achieve goals and exceed quota responsibility.
  • Business Development: Maximize Fortinet opportunity while providing value-added solutions to enterprise institutions.
  • Executive Relationships: Develop relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and partners.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with account managers to maximize primary business focus and serve as a team leader responsible for the quality and success of activities in the territory.
  • Pipeline Management: Consistently build and deliver on an accurate territory pipeline.
  • Travel: Travel within assigned territory is required.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 10+ years of technology selling experience managing a team.
  • SLED Experience: Proven ability to sell solutions to SLED customers.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the network security industry.
  • Track Record: A proven track record of significant over-quota achievement and demonstrated career stability.
  • Closing Deals: Experience in closing large deals.
  • Selling Experience: Selling experience must include one of the following: 1) Firewall/VPN, 2) AV, 3) IDS/IDP.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent presentation skills to executives & individual contributors.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, MBA preferred.
