Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Physician Assistant to join our team in the Emergency Medicine department at Johns Hopkins University. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency medicine and excellent clinical skills.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the emergency department, including performing physical exams, ordering and interpreting lab tests, and developing treatment plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement protocols for emergency situations, including cardiac arrest and trauma cases.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and department efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and technologies to provide evidence-based care.
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field.
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in emergency medicine or related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- 5+ years of experience in emergency medicine or related field.
- Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare software.
- Knowledge of quality improvement principles and methodologies.
