General Obstetrician-Gynecologist Faculty Position

Position Overview
The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled general obstetrician-gynecologist to enhance the Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the expansion of the department's services.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in resident education and provide direct patient care within an academic environment.
- Supervise resident continuity clinics and the gynecology teaching service.
- Offer in-hospital gynecologic consultations.
- Participate actively in medical student education.
The division operates a robust faculty practice across multiple outpatient sites and a labor and delivery facility, comprising a team of 20 obstetrician-gynecologists, 3 gynecologists, and 7 nurse-midwives. Faculty members possess expertise in various areas, including minimally invasive surgery, family planning, vulvar disease, menopause, pediatric and adolescent gynecology, and breastfeeding.
Qualifications
- MD or DO or equivalent degree.
- Completion of an accredited residency training program.
- Licensure from the State of Ohio Medical Board.
- Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
