Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at ProHealth Staffing. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in a fast-paced cardiology practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and escort them to examination rooms, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment.
  • Prepare patients for examination, take vital signs, and update medical history, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Assist physicians with procedures, providing technical support and ensuring a smooth workflow.
  • Maintain patient records and update Electronic Medical Records (EMRs), adhering to strict confidentiality and data protection protocols.
  • Clean examination rooms and prepare for next patient visit, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Replenish exam room supplies as needed, ensuring a well-stocked and efficient workspace.

Requirements:

  • Completed formal Medical Assistant education, with a strong foundation in medical terminology and procedures.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs), with a proven ability to navigate and update records efficiently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume patient environment, remaining calm and composed under pressure.
  • Must be fully-vaccinated, and up-to-date with COVID vaccinations, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
