Position Overview:
Capitol City Rehab and Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Registered Dietitian to join our esteemed team. This role offers a competitive salary of up to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities:
The Registered Dietitian will undertake nutrition screening, assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring, evaluation, and care planning for individual residents, adhering to the current standards set by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) and relevant facility policies.

The role includes conducting necessary nutrition assessments according to the facility's MDS schedule and completing appropriate sections, including CAAs as required.

Additionally, the Registered Dietitian will provide tailored nutrition recommendations for residents, addressing identified nutrition issues within their diagnoses.

Monitoring and documenting the effectiveness of nutrition interventions is crucial to ensure optimal nutrition outcomes for each resident.

The Registered Dietitian will also oversee and support the Dietary Department in delivering food and nutrition services, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of resident meals.

Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from an ACEND accredited institution. A minimum of two years of experience as a dietitian in long-term care is strongly preferred, along with familiarity with MDS data sets, PDPM principles, and NFPE as required. Proficiency in Point Click Care or similar electronic medical record platforms is essential.

Licensure:
Active Registered Dietitian (RD, RDN) credential in good standing is required, along with Dietetic Licensure (LDN, LD) for the state of employment.
