The Forensic Science Program at Penn State University is seeking a dynamic and innovative individual to join our team as an Assistant/Associate Teaching Professor. The successful candidate will be responsible for instructing and developing courses for undergraduate and graduate students in the field of forensic science.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach and develop courses in forensic science, including lectures, laboratories, and seminars.
- Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students and the program.
- Conduct research and publish scholarly articles in the field of forensic science.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement program initiatives.
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
- Ph.D. in Forensic Science, Criminalistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching and research in forensic science.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience working in a criminalistics/forensic science laboratory.
- Strong foundation in the holistic approach to forensic science.
- Experience with curriculum development and implementation.
