Position Overview

We are seeking a Mission Planning and Scheduling System Engineer to contribute to our innovative projects at Peraton. This role involves leveraging system engineering expertise to enhance Satellite Mission Planning and Scheduling applications. You will engage in analyzing system specifications, defining software requirements, and facilitating the testing and deployment of applications within an AWS Cloud environment, employing Agile methodologies.

  • Analyze and derive system specifications for mission planning and scheduling software
  • Implement and validate applications utilizing Agile development practices
  • Design and develop scheduling algorithms

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 0-2 years of experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Agile software development
  • Proficient in data structures and algorithms
  • Possession of an active TS/SCI clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with mission planning and scheduling systems
  • Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Understanding of Agile Product Development Cycle and DevSecOps methodologies
  • Experience in establishing CI/CD pipelines
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team

Salary Range:

$86,000 - $138,000
