We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Director to lead our Operating Room team at Montefiore Medical Center. Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Provide strategic direction and guidance to the OR team, ensuring that our goals and objectives are met.
- Quality and Safety: Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that our patients receive safe and effective care.
- Staff Development: Mentor and coach OR staff to enhance their skills and knowledge, and to promote a culture of excellence.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing required, Master's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of managerial experience in a healthcare setting, with a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in the OR.
- Licensure: Current RN licensure in New York State.
