Job Overview

Global Diagnostic Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to fill the role of Driver and Maintenance Coordinator. This position requires a unique blend of administrative and hands-on driving responsibilities to ensure the company's fleet is in optimal condition and transportation services run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the scheduling and execution of regular vehicle maintenance and inspections, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections, utilizing maintenance tracking software.
  • Act as a primary driver for company transportation needs, adhering to all safety regulations and providing excellent customer service.
  • Coordinate and communicate with vendors for maintenance services and repairs, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
  • Monitor vehicle performance and report any issues or concerns promptly, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal fleet utilization.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Previous experience in vehicle maintenance, fleet management, or logistics preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients, stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills and maintenance tracking software.
Work Environment

This position requires a mix of office work and driving, with occasional lifting, bending, and working in various weather conditions. Travel may be required, including locations outside your local area and state.
