Fleet Mechanic

MEI Rigging & Crating is seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet of gas and diesel vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests to determine vehicle condition and identify areas for improvement.
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and overhauls to keep equipment in optimal working condition.
- Verify vehicle performance through test drives and make adjustments as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of services and repairs.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience as a fleet mechanic or heavy vehicle technician.
- Ability to use precision measuring tools and equipment, as well as hand, power, and pneumatic tools.
- Excellent attention to detail, thoroughness, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
This role requires the ability to perform physical activities that involve considerable use of arms and legs, including lifting, bending, and handling materials up to 100 pounds.
