The growing elderly demographic, along with rising obesity and diabetes rates, has led to an increased need for specialized care in this area.

In your role as a Registered Nurse (RN) at Healogics, you will work under the guidance of the Wound Care Center Clinical Nurse Manager/Clinical Coordinator. Your primary responsibilities will include delivering patient care, overseeing the intake and discharge processes for patients, and potentially serving as a Case Manager for a specific group of individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering patient care and managing the intake and discharge processes for Wound Care Center patients
  • Assisting in vein clinic procedures following completion of Healogics Vein Clinic training
  • Acting as a Case Manager for assigned patients

Additional responsibilities will encompass conducting nursing assessments, liaising with physicians, documenting care plans, providing patient education, and more. You may also engage in hyperbaric oxygen therapy duties, collaborate with other healthcare professionals, and fulfill the role of a Documentation Assistant, among other tasks.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Current RN license in the state of practice
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Experience in Medical Surgical, Home Health, or Wound Care settings
  • Wound care experience is advantageous

Required Skills:

  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Understanding of healthcare regulatory standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer service orientation, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

  • Engagement in various physical activities, including bending, writing, and lifting
  • Capacity to maintain focus during extended periods

Work Environment:

  • Typical office and patient care settings
