Position Overview:

As a Registered Nurse (RN) at Healogics, you will work under the guidance of the Wound Care Center Clinical Nurse Manager/Clinical Coordinator. Your primary responsibilities will include delivering patient care, overseeing intake and discharge processes, and potentially serving as a Case Manager for a specific group of patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering comprehensive patient care and managing the intake and discharge processes for patients at the Wound Care Center.
  • Providing assistance in the vein clinic after completing the necessary training.
  • Acting as a Case Manager for designated patients, ensuring continuity of care.

Additional responsibilities encompass conducting nursing assessments, liaising with physicians, documenting care plans, and providing patient education. You may also be involved in hyperbaric oxygen therapy duties, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and supporting documentation processes.

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
  • Current RN license in the state of practice.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Experience in Medical Surgical, Home Health, or Wound Care settings is advantageous.
  • Prior wound care experience is a plus.

Essential Skills:

  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulatory standards.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in customer service, analytical thinking, and problem-solving.
  • Able to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Engagement in various physical activities such as bending, writing, and lifting.
  • Ability to maintain focus during extended periods of work.

Work Environment:

  • Typical settings include both office and patient care environments.

The compensation for this role generally averages around $46.05 per hour, subject to variations based on qualifications and experience.
