**Job Summary**

The Allied Health Division of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System has an opening for a Paramedic Technology Adjunct Instructor. This role is part of our efforts to provide high-quality education and training in the field of paramedicine.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assist in the EMS lab and clinical rotations at various hospitals, helping the lead instructor with instruction, testing, and assessments in the lab or clinical settings.
  • Monitor students in skill labs and clinical rotations, ensuring they meet the program's standards.
  • Arrive prepared on scheduled days, dressed in appropriate uniform with identification, to assist in skills labs, demonstrate skills, run EMS scenarios, or assist with skill exams.
  • Complete required clinical paperwork and submit it to the program director as requested.

**Requirements**

  • KBEMS licensed Paramedic with instructor Level III endorsement.
  • Associate Degree or higher, AHA instructor certifications.

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • Experience working in a culturally diverse environment, with frequent contact with a diverse constituency of students, faculty, staff, and the public.
  • Commitment to working with underrepresented minority students through teaching, mentoring, or administration.
  • Experience with intersectional, inclusive instruction and the ability to incorporate diverse perspectives into teaching and student engagement.
