Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive event strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Design and deliver attendee experiences that create lasting positive brand impressions.
  • Manage a team of event professionals and oversee all aspects of event planning, execution, and post-event performance analysis.
  • Identify and negotiate partnerships with venues, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage event budgets to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and other teams to ensure events are integrated with broader business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and recommend new approaches to improve event experiences.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in event planning, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience with setting event ROI metrics, continuous measurement, and delivering to plan.
  • Demonstrated financial management skills.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful and profitable event strategies for a range of event types and sizes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Experience working and multi-tasking in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized with the ability to balance multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Up to 25% travel; must be willing to travel internationally.
  • Global event management experience in US, Europe, and/or APAC is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, or related field preferred.
