COMPENSATION: Base rate is $11.60 per hour + Commission eligibility

PURPOSE

The Member Engagement Coordinator is tasked with providing an enjoyable and impactful experience for our members and guests during each visit. This role involves warmly welcoming our members, fostering personal connections, ensuring timely resolution of issues, organizing equipment, and maintaining a pristine environment. This is achieved through adherence to our operational standards. The MEC team plays a crucial role in making a positive first impression of VASA Fitness, promoting memberships, facilitating upgrades, and guiding guests and members throughout the facility.

DELIVERABLES

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Commitment to Delivering an Enjoyable and Impactful Guest and Member Experience: Exhibits a sincere, friendly demeanor when engaging with Guests and Members. MECs are expected to greet guests and members with a smile, maintain eye contact, and use a courteous tone. MECs should anticipate the needs of guests and members, responding appropriately by providing clear guidance, accurate information, and support through our tools and technology. MEC staff should be knowledgeable about our membership options, pricing, amenities, add-on services, and class formats. MECs will conduct facility tours, sell memberships, assist members with upgrades, schedule personal training consultations, and enroll members in personal training. A MEC should consistently seek ways to enhance the Guest and Member experience by relaying member feedback to leadership and collaborating with their team to implement improvements.
  • Upholds VASA Operational Standards: A MEC should fulfill their daily responsibilities to VASA's high standards by adhering to guest and member check-in processes and procedures, completing daily cleaning and hourly facility inspections, restocking merchandise, and processing sales.
