Job Title: Behavioral Health Clinician

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Clinician to join our team at the City and County of San Francisco. As a Behavioral Health Clinician, you will be responsible for assessing and treating individuals with mental health issues, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing individual and group therapy sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat individuals with mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and trauma.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that address the individual's specific needs and goals.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and psychodynamic therapy.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care.
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and contribute to the development of new programs and services.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field.
  • Valid license to practice as a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT), or licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC).
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and trauma.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.

Working Conditions:
