Behavioral Health Clinician

The City and County of San Francisco is seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Clinician to join our team. As a key member of our mental health services team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to individuals and families in need.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and interview clients to determine their mental health needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to clients, using evidence-based practices and techniques.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Develop and implement crisis intervention plans to address urgent mental health needs.
- Provide education and support to clients and their families on mental health topics, including coping skills and stress management.
- Document client progress and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance mental health services and outcomes.
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as social work, psychology, or counseling.
- Valid license to practice as a mental health clinician in the state of California.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adults, and families.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and techniques in mental health treatment.
