Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Benevolent Hearts Home Care. The ideal candidate will have experience in scheduling and home care, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate communications functions of the business office
  • Provide clerical support, including scheduling and data entry
  • Develop and maintain accurate records and databases
  • Ensure seamless communication with staff, patients, and families
Requirements
  • High School Graduate (College Preferred)
  • One year general office experience
  • Excellent computer skills, including typing 40-50 WPM
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • Reliable transportation
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a routine office environment with moderate noise levels. The ability to work a flexible schedule, including extended hours, and travel locally is required. Some exposure to inclement weather and potential toxic materials may be present.

Physical and Mental Effort

The role requires prolonged sitting, occasional lifting, and frequent stooping, kneeling, and reaching. Problem-solving skills and hand-eye coordination are essential for success in this position.
