The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Performing daily cleaning of floors in corridors and other assigned areas
- Cleaning walls, fixtures, induction units, interior windows, and related projects as assigned
- Being responsible for cleaning, waxing, and polishing tile floors
- Cleaning, vacuuming, and extracting carpets for cleaning purposes
- Floor spot cleaning
- Assisting with making sure all trash bins are emptied

The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of standard work and safety procedures of the Environmental Services Department and the campus. They will take ownership in solving problems, take the initiative to make things better, and be friendly and courteous to residents, families, and coworkers.
Reports to work timely and completes assigned duties punctually, informing superiors as far in advance as possible when unable to arrive for or complete scheduled work. Maintains consistent, dependable attendance during scheduled shifts of duty, so as to prevent interruption or service to residents and hardship upon fellow staff.
Communicates professionally, respectfully, and tactfully in all situations.
