Job Summary

As a Donations Attendant, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission to provide opportunities for people to improve their lives through education, training, and employment. Your primary responsibility will be to receive and transport donated items, ensuring they are properly sorted and processed for resale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist donors, providing a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Unload donations from donors' vehicles and determine their acceptability.
  • Presort and clean donations as directed by supervision, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Track the number of donors daily and provide a signed and dated receipt when requested.
  • Assist in loading and unloading the Goodwill truck, as needed.
  • Operate the tagger and hand jack to move product to processing areas.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with CARF standards and maintain applicable safety standards, rules, and regulations.
  • Work with integrity and provide exemplary customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Have key metrics that drive performance and take a leadership role in maximizing the social and financial return of community resources invested in Goodwill.
  • Promote and demonstrate cooperation and teamwork, carrying out additional duties assigned by store management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends, with a willingness to adapt to seasonal changes.
  • Licensure to operate a forklift and ability to operate manual lifts.
