Master's Behavioral Health Co-Response Clinician

We are seeking a highly skilled Master's Behavioral Health Co-Response Clinician to join our team at the Helen Ross McNabb Center. As a Co-Response Clinician, you will work side-by-side with law enforcement to intervene and divert individuals during police encounters, providing mental health support and connecting them with necessary resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Triage, assess, and identify possible treatment options for individuals in crisis
  • Provide mental health follow-up field calls with law enforcement
  • Facilitate trainings to law enforcement on mental health and substance use disorders
  • Participate in Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) trainings

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a health-related field, such as counseling, psychology, or social work
  • One year of experience in the social work and addictions field and/or behavioral health and criminal justice setting
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
  • Valid driver's license and personal dependable vehicle
