Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and engage with guests, ensuring they feel at ease and informed that you will be their dedicated server.
- Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of the menu offerings, promotions, and special events occurring within the establishment.
- Prepare and present the final bill to guests, process payments, and handle any necessary adjustments.
- Monitor the dining experience, ensuring guest satisfaction with both food and service.
- Assist fellow team members as needed to maintain a smooth operation.
- Express gratitude to guests for their visit and encourage their return.
Qualifications:
Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the restaurant industry is preferred.
Requirements:
- Proficient communication skills in English.
- A willingness to provide exceptional service and entertainment to guests in line with the restaurant's atmosphere.
- Knowledge of beverages, including beer, wine, and liquor, along with common drink recipes.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and operating a cash register.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality, with reliable transportation.
- Integrity, strong work ethic, and good personal hygiene.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a professional demeanor with the public.
Certifications:
ServeSafe certification is preferred but not mandatory. TIPS training is also preferred but not required.
