Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Central Indiana Orthopedics. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in the development and administration of therapeutic services designed to assist patients with physical recovery from injury or surgery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive assessments of patients to evaluate their physical health status and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Formulate and implement treatment plans, assessing the quality of patient care and coordinating services with patients and healthcare providers.
  • Provide education and information to patients and caregivers regarding the goals and processes of the therapy provided and devices used.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of patient charges.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to strict confidentiality protocols.
  • Participate in professional development activities and maintain applicable professional affiliations and certifications.
  • Attend and participate in required organizational meetings and committees.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a Doctor of Physical Therapy program accredited by Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) is required.
  • Credentialed by the Indiana Physical Therapy Committee and licensed by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency.
  • Two to four years' of prior experience in a physical therapist role is preferred.
  • Maintain current BLS certification.
Working Conditions

The working environment is in a clinical setting, with exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations, and other conditions common to a clinic environment.

Work requires standing for long periods, excessive walking, and full range of body motion, including handling and lifting/assisting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.

Occasional evening or weekend work may be required.
