Job Summary

Ascension is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality care to patients in our outpatient pediatric rehab department. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with patients and their families to develop and implement personalized treatment plans that promote independence and overall well-being.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with physical, emotional, cognitive, and/or psychosocial deficits

Assess patient's ability to safely and effectively perform independent living skills and design the appropriate plan of care

Implement the treatment plan using appropriate modalities and document findings of patient progress

Monitor and modify the plan of care as needed and seek consultation as necessary

Educate the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits and plan and/or assist with patient discharge from therapy services

Requirements

Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider and American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted

Rehab Therapist specializing in Occupational Therapy (OTR) credentialed from the Indiana Occupational Therapy Committee

Education: Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications

Outpatient Pediatric OT clinic based experience with children 0-18 years old preferred
