We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Experience Coordinator to join our team at Mindful Care. As a Patient Experience Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our patients receive exceptional care and support throughout their journey with us.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate patient scheduling and rescheduling, ensuring seamless communication with patients, providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Collect and process payments, including copays and no-show fees, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Triangulate incoming inquiries from other departments, providing timely and effective solutions to patients and staff.
  • Manage in-office appointments, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for patients and staff.
  • Support patients through the intake process, establishing their Patient Portal and providing basic technical support as needed.
  • Collaborate with providers to ensure timely and effective communication with patients, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management, ensuring the highest level of quality and service to our patients.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a medical office, hospital, or clinic environment, with a focus on mental health care.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in customer service or healthcare administration preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, providers, and staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
  • Strong computer proficiency, with experience using electronic health records and other software applications.
  • Demonstrated awareness, inclusivity, and sensitivity in working with diverse populations, including those from different ethnic backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, and cultural identities.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff who speak these languages.
