Job Description

The Business Systems Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the company's retail and fuel software systems. This position is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to PDI-Enterprise and Telapoint, as well as maintaining and developing reports, imports/exports, and other data interactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain PDI-Enterprise/Telapoint store paperwork screens and data mappings.
  • Responsible for fuel tank inventory mapping and integration at all CEFCO and dealer locations within Telapoint.
  • Troubleshoot, monitor, and create integration feeds for various banks, fuel, and retail vendors using SFTP, AS2, and web services.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute system implementations and upgrades.
  • Assist with training and ongoing support of system users.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, perform setup and configurations.
  • Research and resolve issues from Accounting and Operations.
  • Develop PDI/FocalPoint and other database reporting.
  • Monitor PDI – Enterprise, Focal Point, and Telapoint performance and work with team members or vendors to resolve any issues.
  • Study and document workflows and procedures.
  • Manage system import/export and data retrieval using MS SQL.
  • Design integrations and specifications for EDI, AS2, and other data translation platforms.
Additional Duties
  • Maintain ongoing knowledge of latest PDI system tools and platforms.
  • Work with third-party vendors to create and maintain data integrations with other applications.
  • Assist with integrations to the POS environment and retail software systems upgrades.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years' experience or Associate's degree with 4-6 years' experience; PDI Enterprise experience or work in a retail or fuel wholesale environment is a plus; 3+ years' advanced SQL experience, writing queries, stored procedures, Powershell scripting; Solid understanding of Microsoft SQL 2019 and higher; import/export data to/from Microsoft SQL; basic SSRS report design and modification skills, advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Outlook, Word; basic skills with working knowledge of EDI, XML, CSV and other data formats; ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing initiatives; good customer service skills; strong time management and multi-tasking skills; professional communication skills both written and verbal.
